MoustaphaDiedhiou, a native of the Casamance region of
Senegal, West Africa, is a master drummer, dancer, and
educator. He specializes in the Sawourouba (Kotiro) style
drum of the Mandingko and Diola cultures.

Still deeply connected to Africa, Moustapha is passionate
about sharing his culture with others and is committed to
raising awareness of issues affecting contemporary Africans
both in Africa and the U.S.
